Dr. Francis David Vidal

Violinist, Conductor and Teacher.

He has been studying the violin for 27 years. During his training, he took classes with internationally renowned violinists and teachers. He has been teaching Violin for 17 years and deeply researching Violin Pedagogy for 13 years.

Francis is a Violin Teacher with International Certification for Performance in the entire American Continent by the S.A.A (Suzuki Association of The Americans)

-He is conductor in the Board of Culture of Três Lagoas – MS.

-Regent of the UFMS Choir (Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul - Campos Três Lagoas)

- Pedagogical Director of the Academia da Orquestra Sinfônica de Marília (OSM) where he also acts as head of the violin section.

He worked as an Educational Technical Supervisor of the Frictioned Rope Courses of the Guri AAPG Project (Government of the State of São Paulo) for 7 years, where he provided technical and pedagogical training to the institution's teachers, in addition to developing materials and conducting research for use by the project's teachers. throughout the State of São Paulo.

Gave Lecture on Classical Music and Historical Musical Evolution at UNESP-unati, where he also played

as Soloist with the Chamber Orchestra of the Institute of Arts of UNESP in São Paulo (I.A).

He held Violin Master Classes for the Cultural Workshops of the State of São Paulo, in addition to being invited as a Professor at several Music Festivals.

As an instrumentalist and conductor, he has always received praise from the public and specialized critics in all his performances, with great emphasis on his versatility, musicality and expressiveness.

his repertoire contains pieces ranging from baroque to contemporary, passing through popular and erudite genres.
